Composa beta

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 6, 2026

Composa is a private beta. This is what it keeps about you, why, and for how long.

  1. 01Keep the beta confidential

Before what we keep, what you agree to: this is a rule of the beta, not something our systems do. What you see and do in the beta is confidential. Do not show or share it with anyone outside the development team without the team’s express approval.

  2. 02What we keep

    • Your account: your name and e-mail address, from the sign-in.
    • What you make in the editor: your documents, pictures and versions, kept for your team.
    • How the beta is used: counts (how many documents a call asked for, how many printed, how long it took), sign-in and error records, and your IP address to limit abuse.
  3. 03What we do not keep

    • The data you send to print a published template: the data and items of a call to POST /api/v1/run, the address the editor gives you under Publish, “Use it”. It fills the document and prints it, and the file comes back in the response. It is not written to our database or our storage. This covers that API only: what you make in the editor or through your agent is kept, as “What we keep” says.
    • A file your agent prints through the MCP is kept behind a link for one hour, then the link stops working.
    • No ad or tracking scripts run on this site. Our cookies keep you signed in, hold your invite for an hour while you sign up, and remember small preferences such as the Press Room’s theme.
  4. 04Why

To run the beta for you, keep it secure, and learn how to make it better. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

  5. 05Who helps us run it

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run Composa — sign-in, hosting, the database, file storage, live editing, error reports and product statistics. They process data only on our behalf, to run the service, and product statistics carry an anonymous id, never a document, a name or an e-mail.

The editor’s AI assistant runs only when you ask it to. When you do, what you write, any picture you attach and an outline of the document go to the AI service that answers, and a picture you ask it for sends its description.

  6. 06How long

While your account exists. A project you delete leaves your team at once and is erased after 30 days; our encrypted backups let go of it within 90 more. When the beta ends, or if we delete an account, its data goes the same way.

  7. 07Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we keep about you, or to close your account, by writing to contact@composa.dev.

  8. 08Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top says when it last changed.
